Short answer: Mastook's website and app don't use cookies, don't track you and don't show ads.
Our website
- No cookies: This site uses no cookies, analytics or ad trackers, which is why we don't ask for cookie consent.
- Theme preference: Your light or dark theme choice is kept only in your browser's local storage (localStorage). It is never sent to our server and is removed when you clear your browser data.
- Fonts: The typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser sends Google a technical request (such as your IP address).
- Popular section: The popular products on the home page are fetched anonymously from our server; product images load from the stores' own servers.
Our app
- The Mastook app doesn't use cookies; your session is recognised by a key kept in your phone's secure storage (Keychain).
- When you browse a store's website inside the app, that store may use its own cookies. They are governed by the store's own policy and Mastook has no access to them.
